Privacy Policy
2026-07-06
DevTools Hub ("the Service") values your privacy. This policy explains, transparently, what information is processed and how.
1. Data Processing Principle (No Server Transmission)
All conversions, validations, and calculations performed by the tools on this site (JSON formatter, Base64 converter, hash generator, JWT decoder, and others) run 100% inside your browser. The text and data you enter are never transmitted to or stored on any server — with the exception of account-based features such as the ERD editor, described below.
2. Personal Data Collected for Account Features (e.g. ERD)
For login-based features such as the ERD editor, the Service collects and stores the information below only when you use them. If you do not log in, no personal data is collected.
- Data collected: name, email address, profile photo (provided by your Google account), and service usage records (IP address and browser information from login sessions)
- Collection method: collected with your consent during Google OAuth login
- Stored content: Diagrams you create (tables, columns, relationships, memos, etc.) are stored in your account and deleted when you delete your account.
- Purpose of use: account identification and session maintenance, and displaying your name and profile photo in team collaboration features
- Retention period: deleted immediately upon account withdrawal (author labels remaining in team materials are anonymized). Session records are deleted upon expiration
- Safeguards: email addresses and IP addresses are stored encrypted, and your email address is never exposed on any screen or API, not even to you
- Third-party disclosure: none. Login authentication is handled via Google (OAuth), and Google's handling of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy
- User rights: you may request access to, export of, or deletion of your information (account withdrawal). Until a self-service withdrawal feature is available, you may make such requests using the contact information below
- Cookies: The sign-in feature itself uses only essential session cookies to keep you signed in. Site-wide analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, AdSense) are described in the separate sections below.
3. Local Storage
For convenience features (theme preference, language selection, restoring recent input, favorites, etc.), the Service uses your browser's localStorage. This data is stored only on your device and is never sent to a server. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
4. Cookies and Third-Party Advertising
To support operations, the Service may display third-party advertising such as Google AdSense. These third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can disable personalized advertising in your Google Ad Settings, and opt out of third-party cookies at www.aboutads.info.
5. External Resources
The Service may load some static resources, such as fonts and the code editor (Ace), from external CDNs. As part of standard web requests, information such as your IP address may be transmitted to those CDN providers.
This service uses Google Analytics (GA4) to analyze visit statistics. In the process, cookies and anonymized usage data (page views, referral source, country, device/browser info, etc.) may be sent to and processed by Google. However, data you enter into the tools (text, code, etc.) is never included and is processed only within your browser. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
